The Fathom 40 is certainly one of the most spacious yachts in her class.
With large opening windows in the salon and pilothouse, she is bright,

Salon
Enter the salon by way of a large door from the cockpit. To starboard, from aft to forward, there is a cabinet, room for barrel chairs, and the entertainment centre with flatscreen TV, DVD player and stereo.
To port is a very comfortable U-shaped dinette with storage behind the cushions, and a drop-down table to make yet another berth if needed.
Forward of the settee is the galley, which is open to the salon.
GalleyThe galley is spacious and open to the salon with natural overhead light from the pilothouse. It is a large U-shaped design with plenty of work space and features:
* microwave oven with convection
* Force 10 three burner stove
* two refrigerator / freezers (AC/DC)
* pantries with over 100 cubic feet of storage
Accommodations
The accommodations are down three steps forward of the salon and galley. The master cabin is forward with a centre-line queen size berth, lots of cabinetry and storage, reading lights, and an overhead hatch with screen, and port lights for natural light and ventilation.
Private guest cabin to starboard with double berth, storage lockers and drawers, and reading lights.
Large head to port with large shower stall with double swing door, exhaust fan, Tecma toilet, black and grey water monitor, basin and storage cabinet.
Pilothouse and Electronics
Up five wide steps from the salon is the pilothouse with a very comfortable helm chair, spacious settee (seats five!) with table, chart table with storage. The helm area is well-thought out. Controls and electronics are within easy reach. There is a sliding door to starboard and an opening window to port (with a screen) for ventilation. Visibility for captain and guests is absolutely superb.
